Charles Vogel, General Dentist

Dr. Vogel is a native of Springfield, Missouri, and you might even say a native to the art of dentistry. His grandfather was a dentist in Springfield as well, so dentistry must be in his blood; he was born to be a dentist.

After Dr. Vogel received his DDS from UMKC School of Dentistry in 1966, he headed back to Springfield to begin his career. He acquired a practice from a retiring dentist and eventually met up with the Heard brothers. The trio decided to combine the three practices into one in 1994.

Since you are never too old to learn, Dr. Vogel constantly continues his education through courses offered from dental academies and centers. He has attended the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study and The Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education. Dr. Vogel has studied under Dr. Donald Callan, at Implant Dentistry Today located in Little Rock, Arkansas, as well.

Dr. Vogel has articles published annually in “Dental Economics”, a magazine geared towards the dentistry field. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association, the Greater Springfield Dental Association, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the American Academy of Dental Practice Administration.

Dr. Vogel was voted “Best of the Ozarks Dentists” By readers of the Springfield News Leader in 2004 and First Runner Up in 2003; he is proud of these honors and happy to serve the Ozarks for the past 40 years.
